About Karlo Gomez
I’m going to keep Me simple! As I truly believe simplicity is the key to success in life, master that and you can master anything!
I’m not Italian but I was named Karlo Salvatore Gomez, why?... lol, you’ll have to ask my dad!

I’ve been married for the past 17 years,...yup we got married at 18, and we have 3 FURRY kids! 2 huge dogs and 1 Fat cat! that makes up for 2 human kids...haha!
Did politics for 9 years prior to photography.
Started photography January 2010, it fell onto my lap so to speak.
First 8 months I shot anyone who would shoot with me, I loved every minute of it. It was a hobby until I shot my first celeb, Kiowa Gordon from Twilight. Shortly after I shot Bronson Pelletier also from Twilight. Right then I knew I had some talent and it was time to switch Careers!
On the 9th month I Dropped Politics cold turkey not knowing if i’d make any money in photography....but then My wife stepped in to Encourage me!
I have to give thanks to my Stunning wife Marie Gomez for being there every step of the way to encourage and tell me I CAN DO ANYTHING as long as I put my mind to it! Without her I wouldn’t be here today, so THANK YOU BABY!
Had the pleasure of working with Ms. Carissa Rosario. We did a series called “Blown Away” which landed me my first magazine...GQ South Africa within 11 months of my photography.
Marie and my step sister Marilyn took me to see my Favorite Comedian Jo Koy perform at the Ice House in Pasadena, CA. After waiting a 30 minute line for his autograph I mustered the courage to say “Hey I’m a big Fan and I’d love to do a photo shoot with you someday!...the rest is history. Jo gave me 7 Billboards, Comedy Central and The Chelsea Lately Show.
Shortly after, Vogue Italia August 2011.
I’m truly blessed and thank the Big Man up above everyday for it!
I shoot with a Canon 5D mark ll...That’s my baby until Hasselblad comes along!
I have a variety of lights and lenses to feed my photographic appetite.
Well, that’s it guys!
Message me if you ever have any questions or comments, Stay blessed!
